Christmas

Posted Dec 28, 2014 6:02pm

Despite everything, this week has been wonderful. I don’t want it to end. I have felt fine (yay!) and was able to do many things and see tons of people. We all know I like people! Spent Christmas Eve with Tim’s extended family, Christmas at my mom’s, and “unorthodox Christmas” at our house yesterday with Tim’s family. Cousins came to visit on Friday and I got to meet Jack, the newest addition. My heart is happy (and so are all the little cells in my body).

Alexander is exhausted from all the hustle and bustle. And he is teething. So besides happy, I am also exhausted! But not exhausted from being “sick”; just tired from normal mommy duties.

Tomorrow will be my 4th chemo. I won’t meet with my doctor because she is taking some days off and everything has been going ok. She was going to have me meet with a different doctor, but decided it wasn’t necessary. That means I won’t meet with her until January, after I have had my scans. The scans scare me. I keep praying for those tumors to be way smaller, but the unknown is just frightening. I keep trying to focus on today. Here. Now. The future scares me so much.

But tomorrow, chemo. Tim has off work, so he can come with me. I can’t wait to see what shenanigans we come up with to amuse ourselves 🙂
