Just wanted to update everybody. My biopsy results from last week were inconclusive. They biopsied a lymph node in my abdomen, about 1/2 the size of a grain of rice. The sample they got did not have any cancer cells, but it was too small for them to be sure.
The waiting. The waiting is so, so hard.
I have an appointment at Fox Chase on Monday, so we will see what the specialist has to say.
I feel fine other than my crazy mind that takes me all over the place. And all the waiting!
Still doing mistletoe, and started on some vitamin/mineral supplements based on my diagnosis/tumor mutations/genetic components. It is all very interesting, and I hope these changes help, too. One of my new “things” – taking melatonin. At night, obviously. Needless to say, I have been sleeping much better, but the melatonin is actually to fight the mutation of the cancer. Apparently melatonin does helpful, cancer-fighting things, especially for certain mutations. So that’s kind of cool.
I’m thankful for all of these new insights, and thankful still for the love that surrounds me. Thanksgiving was lovely up in here.
